It apparently goes beyond the Wiseman situation from some articles I have seen. They also went on a major cover up spree. Penny doesn't likely survive since Memphis isn't a Blue Blood.

I remember some posters on here saying the Memphis powers-that-be playing Wiseman in spite of his ineligible status was the right move. I guess it wasn’t.

If he could have shot like last year and play D like this year then he would have been a significant contributor. Still baffles me how he couldn’t get shots to fall this season. Hope his best of both happen for him next season.

That's awesome! Great situation all around. Improves VB's playing time outlook for his last year, improves English's talent pool, continues to show a great relationship between the coaches for those programs, there's trust built at every step of that process.

That's the good thing about assistants who become HC somewhere. Easy landing spots for guys who are good but just not quite good enough.
