Double bye and a SECT where we won’t face Kentucky again unless in championship game.

I am happy we went 3-1, had we gotten a full team effort we would have beaten Kentucky.

Well dam guys, says the me that hates to see the good guys lose… but the hurt has never felt so good. It’s really hard to be too mad with the thoughts of what this squad is capable of doing. We were due for a cold shooting night and when that’s coupled with the pootnannies shooting 50% from 3 for most of the game it’s usually not gonna end well. Gotta be proud of the effort at the end tho, and there are still a lot positives to take away from this one instead of the negatives that will be spewed here until we’ve made it past the last 16. As always and what’s most important… GBO

I'm happy we went 3-1, but I really didn't expect us to come out this flat and nobody to show up but DK. I thought if anything we'd be loose but we played tight and timid and let UK just bully us. I'm glad we showed up eventually but like in the past usually the hole dug is too big to get out of. And I'll keep saying it, I hate losing to UK in basketball. If it had been LSU, SC, Miss St., I wouldn't care as much.

SEC teams have him figured out. They’ve had to play the dude for 5 years.

I hope he gets hot in the big dance, not many teams have the talent to guard DK, Santi, ZZ, & JJJ like Kentucky can. They just actually did in the first half.

ZZ sitting in first half hurt us a lot, he was late to get it going. No one else could match his intensity on defense either.

Gainey, Mashack, & Awaka offering nothing off the bench on either end really hurt.

Don’t think anybody expected that… gotta admit tho KY probably played their collective best defensive game of the year. And we all know they can score.. then add Justin Edwards going the F off like that. We can’t stand em but they’re scary if that defense translates over the next 3 weeks

Man they really didn’t though. They guarded the rim but we had a ton of open threes. Just couldn’t hit anything. I’d like to say tired legs after a brutal stretch of games but that didn’t seem to affect Knecht

DK is built different, he’ll put up 400 FTs tonight too.

Kentucky played their best half of defense all year to open the game. We also missed shots and still was only down 4.

Second half both teams left the defense in the locker room. They had the lead & that was the difference.

This is why we should have spoken to SCarolina about replacing their nets Wed. It’s been done I’m almost certain, If the communication is made and the timing respectable….

Regardless of LSU’s result tonight, I believe TN’s first game in the SEC tourney will be the winner of LSU-Mississippi State

Yeah, the game doesn’t worry me in terms of “This team isn’t as good as we thought.” It just worries me in the sense that we probably won’t be a 1 seed now, and most of all it upsets me Kentucky beat us on our court on senior day

This. I also didn't like how tight and timid we seemed, almost intimidated at times until we decided to show up.
