It's been so long now that I thought it was just the 2019-2020 year. I'm still not sure that it's 100% guaranteed and why the Juco waiver doesn't apply to baseball, too.

The NCAA claims it doesn't but as soon as someone sues they'll either not fight it or lose again.

Osuna filed a preliminary injunction in federal court and lost. So did a Georgia baseball player.

Senior Day festivities will be held after the game tomorrow according to the official Vol Basketball Twitter account.

I sure hope we win the game, because Alabama held their Senior Day after the game as well this week and about 1,000 fans were left to give Mark Sears some recognition.

The 2019-20 season ended prematurely during conference tournaments. 2020-21 was almost a full season but very few fans were allowed to attend games. Oddly the 2020-21 (instead of 2019-20) season was the freebie eligibility year for players even though the 2021 NCAAT was played. This would have been Springer’s and Keon’s senior year had they stayed.

Unfortunately his judge made an error, I hope Osuna appeals. If he does, he'll win. The judge in the Pavia case granted the injunction under the exact circumstances and found that Pavia would be harmed financially by not being allowed to play.

The Auburn articles reference the Pavia decision, which I guess I didn't realize it applied to basketball. That makes the Osuna decision and argument by the NCAA even worse.

But, even if he gets a Juco year back, Baker-Mazara has played for four seasons at a D1 school with no redshirts. What am I missing? This is crazy.

Trial courts don’t have to use prior rulings in other district courts. It’s just persuasive. The appellate courts in each circuit also have different law.

I honestly don't like the NCAA allowing the players to get extra years until they're 25 or 26 years old. I understand the CoVid year but anymore than that is killing the development of the younger guys on the team by continuously getting recruited over for these 4,5,6 year guys. It may be the Nature of the Beast now but I don't have to agree with it.

The line for USCjr is 15.5. I have to say that seems a little low for me so Vegas must be seeing how this could be a challenge. For reference Duke was a 20.5 favorite over a Wake forest team with 10 losses. I bet the sharps in vegas are on USCjr tomorrow

Barttorvik has it at 14, we aren’t Duke, I wouldn’t compare us to them.

The loss last night and the close win over LSU might have something to do with it. I'd actually be a little surprised if we didn't win pretty handily tomorrow. The Ole Miss game is hopefully going to provide a wake-up call in a number of ways.

The problem is time, and you can’t bank on an appeal.

Don’t know that many know this, but Travis Ford was 24 during his senior season at Kentucky.

Most complaints about the refs are being inconsistent. What’s not a first half foul becomes one in the second half or vice versa. Plus the exhausting end of game reviews.

However there are stats that all but prove certain refs have a clear bias calling games. And it’s a couple of under the radar names instead of the well known names like TV Teddy and Doug Shows.

There's the ref complainers and the ref blamers. Officiating is bad and inconsistant so most of the complaints are valid but it's not always why their team loses like they think.

The NCAA is 1-1000 in cases. This judge is wrong. I've no doubt they'll lose here. It's easy to show harm to Osuna in this case.

I’m cool with it. We were all clamoring for this last season after the team came out flat from the emotions of senior day vs UK. They’ll be focused on the game now.

Also South Carolina isn’t WF. USCjr would likely be 2+ point favorites on a neutral vs WF. People don’t understand how awful the ACC is outside of the top 4-5.
