Jokic and Doncic are the two players I would go out of my way to watch. It is a pleasure to see the game played by guys who truly make everyone around them better. Damn shame that the odious James gets to benefit from Doncic's presence.

Doncic is awful to watch. Just a whiny bitch the whole game. He makes some nice plays but I can’t even appreciate them because of his antics.

I really can’t comprehend how anyone could bag on James for that stuff and give Doncic a pass. He’s like Houston James Harden levels of unwatchable.

Doncic also refused to pass to Knecht for the first few games. Not sure what the problem was, but I imagine between Redick and James he was “encouraged” to use the perimeter passing option that he had.

I’m cool with it. We were all clamoring for this last season after the team came out flat from the emotions of senior day vs UK. They’ll be focused on the game now.

I think it's great for the players, as long as we win. No rush, more time to honor them. I don't know if UT will take more time now that it's after the game but I like it.

Well, we'll disagree on that. I know that Doncic does complain a bit too much, but he's like a magician with the ball in his hands. I can't compare him to Harden because Harden's game is so predicated on iso play and foul grifting, especially as he aged

My contempt for James is because to me he is responsible for ruining the NBA with his power plays to form super teams and hold franchises hostage to his whims. He got away with it because he was so good, but the player empowerment (which many think is a great thing) just got out of control to the point that contracts mean nothing any more. And James took the whole traveling thing to the ridiculous level that is is now, where 3-4 steps is routine. James to me is everything that is bad about the NBA.

Luka does whine to the officials constantly and it’s pretty annoying. On Thursday, he clearly smacked an arm going for a steak. Foul is called. He runs down the other end flailing his arms calling for a Challenge , which his coach wisely ignored. It was clearly a foul and he made a production out of it. It’s embarrassing. It’s constant with him.

It would be nice if we could finally benefit from it and get to the FF. I mean I know last year we made it as far as we ever have but we were also just plain good. And we are good this year.

I'm just wanting a combo of we're good AND we get some of that Cinderella magic going even if we aren't actually a Cinderella. I think we are overdue.

And a beneficial draw like Alabama got last year wouldn't hurt, either. Last year we got the toughest team that we could get in the bracket through to the elite eight and then ran into the only team besides UConn that I had any fear of, and that due to the ridiculous treatment Edey received from the officials. It would be nice to maybe get a break matchup-wise as the tournament progressed.

Yeah, we did everything we could possibly do to make this anything but an easy blowout. The missed FT's are (hopefully!) an anomaly, but this is two games in a row where we've had our foot on the opponent's throat and let them hang around. 3-4 empty possessions with an early 8 pt. lead - a couple of buckets might have prevented this from getting as shaky as it did.

I still see this group as one that can make a deep run, as the long regular season grind might have affected those last two games. I expect to see a fresh and focused team come NCAA time. Wish the SEC tournament didn't even exist.

I think having the double bye in SECT will help us get rested, even if we win the SECT we still get almost a week off before NCAA starts.
