Yeah I think we can win any game left on the schedule honestly, but it's about how we play...and on the road thus far I've not seen us play very well.

at least on paper I like as 3 potential wins... 9-0 at home would for sure be key to a 1 seed.

If we lose relatively close Saturday night I almost count that as a W. I'm not into moral victories but after our Florida trip and it being Auburn if it's a tough close lose I'll be ok with it once I get over the initial "crap we lost" reaction I'll have.

Seems like baring something crazy Auburn, Duke, and Iowa state probably have 3 1 seeds. 4th 1 seed between Bama, Florida, us, Houston.

SEC seeding apart from Auburn being front runners to win regular season crown seeds 2-4 are really up in the air and probably going to come down to which teams which teams have hardest remaining schedules and health. Bama, Florida, TAM, ole miss, UK all battling for those other 3 spots.

Beating Auburn on the road (which seems unlikely with or without Broome) would sure give us a spark heading down the rest of the conference schedule. Predicting a loss, but if Auburn does drop one at home with a hobbled this seems like most opportune time.

If we do lose Saturday (and I expect we will), I'm not sure which will be more annoying: 1) Watching Pearl's clown show side court with a little Steven mixed in, or 2) Seeing Chad Baker Mazara and co. flash their imaginary pistols in their waste-bands after making shots.

It must be a state of Alabama thing. Quite possibly the most tone deaf programs in the country, meaning Alabama and Auburn.

When they do just remind them he finally joined CRB in the fraternity of coaches who made it to a F4 and how their overall resumes (and, yes, even early exits from the NCAA) are virtually identical - except that is for the FACT CRB has gotten to the dance 76% of his seasons while Bruce has only done it 65% of his seasons (excl. Covid year).

And, best of all, CRB has achieved all of his success doing it the right way and is highly respected throughout college basketball while Pearl has been drawn much criticism over his career and has egregiously cheated at multiple stops.

This quote is quite prescient in retrospect: “He coaches well,” Collins said of Pearl in 2018. “But he doesn’t care much about people, and he doesn’t care much about the system.”

I would agree, but they weren’t really playing well going into the week off. They were bad @UGA and @USCjr in 2 of their last 3, and really should’ve lost both. Especially if Broome is back, hard to see them not coming out and playing better than they did in the week before the break.
