I would personally like to see our guys come out with fire and passion today. The weather has been crap and there is nothing we can do about mother nature. We have things to work on and let's start that process today. If anyone thought we were supreme to a Kentucky team, well we learned hopefully. Still gotta play the game and show up. Baseball is a great game. This has been a humbling experience for our guys so far. Let's go play ball today fella's

Doubt we play in weather like that again this season. And it was gloomy and cold. Bad vibe. But still should not lose to UK.

I mean I can't really bitch about losing 4 games in a season, maybe 5 depending on todays outcome.We have things we can improve on. Let's try to get better. SEC is tough in any sport. This team has been fun and we likely won't ever see a team like this. They are rare

Ok , we need Drew to hit a double , Trey to follow suit , Ortega to get on base , Cemo to double and russell to hit 2 rbi single . Cortland to get on bring back the top of the order. Just get the lead. They can do it!!! Let’s go boys. 20 minutes to riding time

Having not had time to catch up on this thread, someone else might have made the following observation. If so, I apologize.

It's obvious that Kentucky, whose pitching staff has a 5.3 SEC era, NOT a 2.0, has discovered how to pitch the Vols. The first night might have ben written off as a fluke, but the second night indicates otherwise. I recall that Tenn Tech pitched us very effectively by not throwing fastballs, only slow, big breaking stuff. Kentuvcky isn't doing only that, they are mixing a few fastballs with a lot of different kinds of off speed and breaking stuff. They are throwing fastballs just off the plate or low or high, getting us to swing and miss, getting ahead in the count, and then throwing the offspeed stuff, at which we are flailing. We are a fastball hitting team, and they have found a way to take advantage. As the finish to game two gets underway, let's hope our guys have figured out a counter stratgy.
