The Official #1 Tennessee @ Kentucky Thur-Sat Game Thread (Thur. 7PM EST SEC NETWORK) (Fri. 6:30PM EST SEC NETWORK+) (Sat. 2PM EST SEC NETWORK +)

This year is strange but avoiding a sweep on the road in SEC play is still a good result.
Kentucky isn’t as bad as their record is. They had played pretty comparable to a bout a .500 SEC team coming into this series. The 7-14 record was a little deceiving. I hate to rub it in people’s faces but I did say Kentucky had average SEC pitching (which is pretty darn good compared to the rest of the country) before this series started and some just didn’t want to believe it 😎

Well, I was certainly one who didn't. But I believe it now!! You called it so good on you!!

They had a pitching plan and executed it very well. Other opponents will study the film from this weekend.

After the race was over they tried to have an interview with the jockey while sitting on a horse but the winner kept attacking & biting the neck of the other horse. I'd never seen that before after a KY Derby race and everyone couldn't believe what was going on with the winning horse.

Now that things have died down a bit…Obviously, no one can keep up with game day threads and still watch the game. I read enough posts to understand the complaints, concerns, etc…I’m sure someone else probably pointed it out, but my thinking going into this weekend went like this…

UK’s pitching ain’t great, their record isn’t great, they can hit though, catcher is good. My concern was, is the series starting on a Thursday while traveling a day early gonna mess with us? The good news is that will be the routine for the rest of the regular season.

Tip of the cap to UK, pitching and fielding was great and they got hits when they needed ‘em.

Probably got a big dose of meth in the feed bag this morning, it is Kentucky after all.
