Honestly, it would be a hell of a tense series and must watch TV. But, they’re much better than a 16-seed talent wise. I’d prefer to not make the path to Omaha any more difficult than it needs to be.

E’rbody is gonna be a good baseball team and I‘ll be very surprised if we get a draw we all like. This has been a “we take all comers” team, carried the pressure of being #1 for weeks now. When yer deep enough to throw Burns and Tidwell…that’s sick.

True. You have to play good teams. There is no avoiding that. But, there are definitely “easier” paths to Omaha and more difficult paths. I can’t imagine drawing Gonzaga or Southern Miss at 16 wouldn’t be better for us than Arkansas. I just see no reason to want to make our path any harder than it has to be so I’m hoping for a decent draw.

We can’t control the path. Once we won game one with UGA, we’ve been all in preparing for the post season. I absolutely would like, and think we deserve “a path” befitting a #1 overall seed. I just don’t believe or have confidence that will happen.
