What channel is showing 'The Massacre at StarkVegas: Part II' tonight?

Part I was truly outstanding!!!

We didn't see very good pitching last night, and it showed. Looking at MSU's lineup it's easy to see that they burned the bottom of the barrel for good reason. We will see better pitching the rest of the weekend, but nothing that should scare anyone. Johnson has the most strike outs on the team by a wide margin, while Smith has the best era of the starters.

The highlighted pitchers were used last night. Several may still be available if they dare.

Yes. I didn't look up the numbers. But, once behind 8-0, the announcers mentioned leaving the starter in to take one for the team. That made me think....whatever relief pitchers we saw, would not be the good ones.

And, of course, the Vols also didn't use any of the high end guys out of bullpen.

I hope I'm not over reacting, but that debacle last night scares me. I don't know how many times I've seen a team blow out another team in the first game of a series, then end up losing it. Look at what happened to the Hogs last year. They stomped N.C. State in the first game and then, N.C. State ran them right of the tournament. Like I say, I hope I'm wrong.

Proof that college baseball is a roller coaster ride like no other.

Also consider this:

2023 Lineup
Booker CF
Stephenson LF
Dickey RF
Steenstra 3B
Burke 1B
Lawson SS
Ortega 2B
Taylor C
Moore DH

Dollander SP
Burns SP
Beam SP
Sechrist SP

More bullpen arms than we know what to do with AGAIN...finally will see Halvorsen.
I’d be surprised if Taylor is the starting catcher and I’m not sure Dickey has the arm to play RF.

Good thing it's completely irrelevant what MSU does to us in the next two games.

I would rather be in our shoes than their shoes..

So who’s the MVP of this club??? Hmm… I would have to ponder that one a bit…this could go into some deep convos!! Let’s just save this for the latter part of June!!! … if this team finds itself in Omaha, I like the build up !!! Let’s keep playing one game at a time.

Evan Russell or Drew Gilbert get my vote. You don't have such a dominant pitching staff without a terrific receiver. Evan isn't skilled at throwing runners out, but he handles a pitching staff like he was born with the talent. And look what he's done at the plate while learning the catcher position and the pitching staff. Amazing. And Gilbert is the straw that stirs the drink on this club - the heart and soul of it. His performance at the plate has been fantastic, and same in cf. Just can't buy that stuff.

I like Steenstra at SS of he's on the field . May be some moved around best per position and batting average will probably be the ultimate decision. Steenstra can cover a lot of ground. Hitting may be the biggest thing to work on. Coach has a great problem many many to choose from .
