He should have barehanded that ball and the batter would have been out. His defense has been bad all year And cost us some runs.

We play well against lesser teams but, TAMU is throwing shut down pitching and few mistakes. I am surprised with our offense playing so poorly. Bottom 5th no runs in a do or go home without a trophy game.

Vols bats are awesome against not good pitching....but can't hit sh*t vs a good/ great pitcher.

True....Any team can be a good fastball hitting team. It takes a really good team to pick up on the off speed stuff and hit it. It's a typical power hitting team against good pitching. This usually happens.

That’s the best inning he has had. They will run him as long as needed. Will follow him up with the guy from last night.

But as you said, only one run game. Need to keep it there.

Last nights guy doesn’t bother me as much. We hit him and he’s not rested. Cortez is just nasty, but again, he’s not unhittable.

Get through this inning and let’s hope we can start getting by some good swings and smart at bats.
