Will be very interesting to see if the Vols hold onto #1 or if Oregon State/Okie State jumps them. I think Tennessee remains #1 in D1, but I wouldn't put it past one of the other four major polls to vault an OSU into the top spot despite the Vols winning their SEC series.

We should be ranked 1st, 2nd, and 3rd...maybe someone else in 4th...that's how much better the Vols are than anyone else in the country. No one else is consistently winning games by 8-10 runs or more. This is the football equivalent of winning 56-3.

I like it. The Vols at LNS should be #1 and the Vols on the road should be #2

It'd be funny if the Knights took an unconventional approach to baseball offense a la their basketball team's apprehension towards dribbling.
Moved up to D1 a year or two ago. School is in Louisville, KY. IIRC, played both Louisville and Kentucky close.

I think his whole argument was that the previous batter should’ve had strike 3 called on a batters box infraction and the kid that put a line drive on Dolly’s wrist, never should’ve been at the plate.
GBO!!
Thanks. I'd wondered if the bench was razzing Dolly while he was down and pissed the staff off. Either way the ump and bama broke the orange rule. Never....poke....the....bear. 15-4 is so sweet. I'm sure they thought they'd steal a series from us.

For anybody who missed the game today, here is a quick recap.

Tennessee has 3 losses. Oregon State has the next lowest at 7 and everyone else has 8 or more.

No reason in the world for Tennessee to drop.

Thought he twisted it covering first?

Oh I saw the play you're referring to. I thought he was hit before that. And was limping running to first because he had been hit a few plays before.

EDIT:

Vols Win 9-2, Even Up Series in Eventful Game Two Against Alabama

"Camden Sewell was terrific in relief for Dollander until giving up a 2 RBI home run to Alabama's Zane Denton, ultimately Sewell's final batter faced. The Vols' senior reliever battled through a foot injury sustained in the top of the second inning when a burner collided with his ankle. Sewell was affected by the hit, as he was limping from the mound to first base when making an out in the top of the sixth."

May have missed the ankle shot.
