Regarding Jeff Macias, did you see in Sundays game he had his arms crossed and back turned to the video board as our pre-game hype video was playing. The other 3 umps were watching the video. Showing that kind of displeasure/disrespect/bias for a team like that should automatically disqualify a person from officiating. He is the one that should be reviewed by the SEC.

I would like to see Joyce stretched out to 3 innings , I'd like to see him pitch the 7th,8th and 9th innings of a SEC game soon. For one , it's fun and just really like for him to pitch to the whole line up once... As I type this i had the thought , how fun would it be to see Joyce pitch the first 4-5 innings , then come in with Kirby and Redmond... talk about messing with hitters swings!!! 102 down to 76..... I'd Pay to watch that!!

in the 8th inning Saturday night , Redmond threw one of the Nastiest Change up's I have seen for a K..... It look like it actually froze in mid air.....Lethal , Hitters just haven't been able to hit it... Everybody talks about Velo , and I like it...It's a must in the SEC but having Red on the back end....Don't under estimate the Value....Especially when the Change is working!!!! Same to be said for Kirby's breaking ball...

IMO, coaches have studied our pitchers at length and have learned their tendencies. Batters are sitting on certain pitches and hitting them. CFA will need to mix it up as we move forward. Beam is great, Dollander is really good, and Burns is being figured out a little by opposing teams. Our bullpen is way above average as well. As far as Joyce is concerned, he needs to work on hitting different spots with his "super" fastball. 102 is ridiculous, but right down the middle is still very hittable for many batters.

Our infield D needs to buckle down as errors will cause you to lose the close ones.

With that being said, there is not a series left on our schedule that we should not win although I expect a few more losses in conference play.

This is absolutely a team that can win it all, but it won't be easy.

He also got his one call wrong on Sunday by calling Lawson out. I'm sure they came up with a fake batter's inference call to suggest that a review wasn't needed.

I would assume that he won't be back for our games again.

yea, the batter was irrelevant in regards to JM there.

The call he was responsible for making, he missed. By a mile. If this league had any integrity they would cull out these bums. Don’t hold your breath.

Joyce? 102 has been unhittable....he has 28 strikeouts....struck out 2 of 4 Ole Miss batters, 3 k's in one inning vs. Missouri and 2 k's vs. 3 Alabama batters. One of those k's was finishing off Drew Williamson (2nd in lineup that bats .300+) with a change up. He basically strikes out 1 of every 2 batters and has given up what, 7 hits?

I think Joyce will be just fine...

Very Hittable....Watch the reaction of the Hitters that face him. Fans don't get lined up to watch Very Hittable guys... Ben Joyce is a weapon that TV is bringing along slowly and getting looks more like a Big Leaguer with each appearance. CA and TV are very good at their jobs, I am amazed at what they have done in 5 years. Teams don't really feel to confident after they play us.. Seen it in SC , OL Miss (really bad) , Vandy , Missouri and Alabama. As each weekend went on , each team was glad the series was over , only Alabama had anything at all to celebrate... They Squeaked out with one win....A few plays going in our favor in lieu of theirs and we sweep... I watch for body language of the opposing teams at the end of the series and the teams , all of them, we have played haven't wanted any more of the Vols. I don't say that with cockiness....It's not how you start but how you finish..... As a fan, their should be a lot of Respect given to the Coaching staff and players. It's obvious , this team works !!! The stats of this team speaks Volumes....

He is very hittable for some batters, if he continues to throw fastballs down the middle, he will become more so. Do you at least admit that batters are making more contact lately than earlier in the season?

What happened at the Knoxville airport? Supposedly Macias went after a lady that tweeted he was in the Knoxville airport as he was waiting to catch his flight?

Absolutely sucks for this to happen. We are fortunate to have a solid bullpen to go with high quality starters. We need Tidwell to get more involved in the rotation at this point. I'm sure CFA will get him there.

Word getting out is that Dolly got really good news and is looking at a soft tissue bruise. I’d toss Blade in to Saturday or let Burns drop back a day for an extra day of rest. Let Dollander work his way back slowly. There’s no reason to rush it. Sechrist should be able to go 6+ innings against Bellarmine to take up innings so we can leave bullpen guys for the weekend.

The way he flopped when Tony bumped him, he could probably fly home without a plane. Dude acted like he had been drop kicked.

That's why he got pulled early in the bama game. Didn't want him facing that HR threat coming to the plate . At least that's my thoughts.
