Ky will come in confident and fired up. They're playing to survive, while we are playing to advance. Don't underestimate their motivation. And they are a much better team that people realize. They proved it to us a few weeks ago. And they've kept proving it this week. This is a good team, no matter their record. They figured out how to pitch us in that series, and they will try it again: fill up the strike zone with slow stuff and breaking stuff and use the fastball just out of the zone as bait. The key to us winning tonite is plate discipline. Take them deep into counts. Don't be swinging at first pitch fastballs out of the zone. Make them throw fastballs for strikes. If we can get ahead in the count and force them to throw fastballs over the plate, we'll feast on them.

No doubt that the Cats will be fired up and confident tonight. They’ve been playing great down the stretch. That said, I think this will be a great opportunity for us to take everything you said and have a do over of sorts.

I think the goal tonight will be to play good baseball, something we didn’t do in Lexington. If we do and still get beat, then tip of the cap to the Cats. I’ve a feeling that we will come out motivated and focused.

How is this even possible? I have never seen in any tournament format where the team in the winner’s bracket is the away team against the team coming out of the loser’s bracket. SEC is terrible.
