First off, you quickly proved peacherman's point of why some Vol fans annoy him

Secondly, Kirby Connell is a key reliever who has pitched 30.2 innings this year and maintains a 3-0 record and 1.17 ERA. Despite his impressive stats he is also known for being a Vol fan favorite for his spirit and community service, as evidenced by his selection to the SEC Community Service Team this year. As previously noted, he is the son of preacherman20, who is a contributor to this board whose perspective is greatly appreciated by baseVol fans.

Let me make sure that everybody understands we love UT baseball and the fans as a family. Last night while we were eating supper and hanging out at Dave & Buster’s Kirby took probably six or seven pictures with different fans. Even played a couple of games with some kids. We go out of our way to make sure that he always has an opportunity to interact with young fans especially. I have always tried to bring a different perspective to this board since I have been on it from the viewpoint of the players and their parents. Sometimes giving you guys a behind-the-scenes look at what is going on in their lives. As most of you know I normally do not get on here during games. I especially love the support that VolNation regulars have given me, Kirby and my family.
