I agree, Pons needs to get more aggressive and just go dunk mode any chance he gets I feel. That should be his 1st shot to look for. He could be a lot like Dominique if he would play with that thought, Nique was always looking for someone to posterize!

My favorite non Vol of all time. And yeah. I felt a couple times there was nobody there. Two dribbles and wreck the rim. Not only 2 points but demoralizing for the opponent.

Jo looks more athletic this year. Had a pretty complete game, but he can improve so much as well. Springer and Johnson looked really good at times, obviously made some mistakes, and Springer doesn't look as quick as I thought he would. EJ is a load, but boy that midrange is not his game. Bailey and Vescovi were solid, i like what they bring.

He played pretty significant minutes last year, I would expect some contribution this year as well. We will see

I think so too, he'll be used when we need a spark or when we run some trap defenses.

Vescovi is one of the best set shooters we’ve ever had. Pretty clear with just about a half season of tape.

I’d like to see us run more offense to get him free. I’d also like to see him evolve into a catch and shoot or shoot off a screen type player. I think he is capable.

That’s awesome! Much respect to the young man! This tells me that he has a fire burning in him and will hopefully earn his way into some minutes! This right here is why Tennessee basketball is becoming a legit basketball PROGRAM!

Not knocking the guy at all, but how do you expect to play Gaines when we have this roster? Hustle and grit are admirable, but Ws are a business that require business decisions in order to be successful. He obviously has potential, but unless he's improved dramatically in the off-season, he's too much of an all-around liability.

Of his second year, but he's showing the exact same things he showed last year. Keon gave him the prefect pass in the paint, and he gets happy feet in the paint and has to kick it out. Even on his dunk where he was wide open he still hesitates.

I think he may be the most timid player that I have ever seen. It's reasonable to doubt if he will ever be a legit contributer. Hopefully, at some point, the light switch just flips on.
