The Official #12 Tennessee vs. Colorado Game Thread, 6:00 PM ET, SEC Network+

I think they played it fine. That zone is weak at the high post. They got it there multiple times, and both Pons and Anosike missed shots. I thought one time they missed Fulky on the high/low. The sign of a good coach is seeing if the players know how to attack. They did, and the execution needs to be better.

More teams may play it after this game, but we now have more shooters who can play opponents right out of it.
No disagreement there.

One thing I would like to see is catching it at the high post and taking it to the rim. A couple of those shots Pons missed it looked like he could have posterized someone instead.

yeah just not this year. Doesnt look polished enough offensively to be like the number 6 guy off the board like he's projected right now.
Yeah, limited practices and one game in, no one is going to look terribly good. Just a little patience there.

I agree, Pons needs to get more aggressive and just go dunk mode any chance he gets I feel. That should be his 1st shot to look for. He could be a lot like Dominique if he would play with that thought, Nique was always looking for someone to posterize!
