He’s not, and that’s the point. He’s playing the young guys a lot of minutes and now has tape for them to improve from.

If the goal was to win by 36 we would have seen the same 8 man rotation we saw against Illinois.

Then we agree then. No issue with rotation, my issue will be the same as what Barnes will be saying. No matter who you have on the court, you have to play to the game and have some intensity. They did go to sleep and you can’t have that against any team at this level.

I’m done with this crap. WE CANNOT PLAY LIKE THIS AGAINST A GOOD TEAM. This is how a season ends in the NCAA tournament. Crap second halves. Or crap first halves. We’ve had a few of both! This team needs to figure out how to play an entire game. We did against Illinois and my hope is that we will recover from this and be better from it. I’m playing 8 guys the rest of the season unless we have a couple guys step up, but I’m not seeing it right now. Go 8 or 9 deep and don’t EVER freaking take your foot of the gas!!

Think the point is our SEC bench should not be made to look like lapdogs against a winless Sun Belt team and our starters had 13 TOs and shot 6-29 outside of Aidoo (21%)

Start of the game they mentioned that Barnes wanted to push pace. More TOs came from that & playing more guys and lineups we hadn’t seen.
