The Official #16 Tennessee @ #23 Arkansas Gam Thread, 4:00 PM ET, ESPN

Kind of a dumb moment you will regret......You could have broken it during the MCB or saved this EVENT for the NCAA Tournament You can delete the Post and claim insurance, I guess.
We have all have these moments and although I have never accomplished this feat myself I have seen two broken in one season by the same person both 65 inch screens during the Derrick Dooley Error.
Hard to believe.
Since then I have no clue but based on the coaches we have had since then I would say he is in the Teens.

PSA. It's okay to criticize the team you root for because you have high standards.

Obviously if the team goes on to win the SEC tourney or makes a deep run in March, Im not gonna care we loss a road game to a good Arkansas team. But I can't 100% be frustrated in the moment, especially when I see a pattern forming.

PSA: you can be frustrated about your team’s play and still realize it wasn’t a must win. If they go 3-1 the rest of the way, it was what was expected.

Never agreed with Barnes more. These calls are dumb and ruining college basketball, don’t reward lazy defense. Ratio of these calls should heavily skew towards blocks.

No doubt. College basketball went to new “freedom of movement” rules several years back, and that should lend itself to offensive players getting more calls.

We have to able to look more for post play by Fulky some at least in games like this. The refs were really in control of this game for Arky. Combined with just bad shooting by us!

I almost wonder if he got injured during the one play he was left on the ground in the 2nd half. After that we relied on Plav during crunch time..

Watched the game late with an Arky fan. With good officiating, we win this game. Arky fan said they should have won by 30 (which is hilarious).

I haven’t seen such bad charging calls in a LONG time. Changed the entire dynamic of the game.

Couple of observations:

1: KC has to drive more and attack the rim. Same with JJJ.

2: We should have slowed the game down and fed the post. Get them in foul trouble.

3: Aidoo needs to start over Uros

Shooting 27%, I doubt it. They didn't help but it wouldn't have mattered

That is on the Coach to adjust. That Arena must be a nightmare to play in.......
And how exactly should he “adjust” with the top 3 scorers in early foul trouble and everybody missing layups and wide open 3’s? And the refs giving Arkansas (and I’ll try to be nice) plenty of favorable treatment. Please enlighten us.

What do you expect the FG% to be when we're forced to go with unconventional lineups and guys become hesitant to drive the lane? Idk, you can't have it both ways. We didn't shoot well but neither did they. When Williams is allowed to slide/flop to the tune of 5 drawn charges there is nothing that can be done. That 3rd foul on Chandler before the half was ballgame. The absolute worst officiating I've seen in years, the officials weren't going to allow us to win that game period.

Arkansas fans should be so proud of their team's valiant effort, lol. Trash team that won't do **** it march.

We missed so many shots today in critical times. Uros had a bad game. Refs horrible. We have got to play better and make those shots.

One Vol was 4 of 13 & 8 points vs Vol 2 of 13 for 7 points. Guess who?
By your logic, Vescovi is worse than James.
Vols can't survive on that and so did not win this game

On the other hand, agreed, Powell has not contributed in a long, long time
The problem is Vescovi had a bad game and he had one today. JJJ has had many bad games. You was better off comparing JJJ to Powell instead of Vescovi. Vescovi has been good all year

The NBA put in a challenge system a few years ago and made block/charge calls challengeable. It’s past time for college to do this too.

Problem is we have an offense that seems to disappear against good defenses away from TBA. 7 losses this season(against top 25 KP teams) neutral or away. Not encouraging going into post season.
