It's year 3, the gap should be closing. I didn't expect to win today but at least look competent. How many scholarship LBs were on the roster to start the year? Seriously, it will shock youWe didn't. We have a ton of injuries. We have no depth. We're slow and not nearly athletic enough. To expect this staff to take this roster and be within 10 pts of uga is like NASA giving me a hammer and screwdriver and telling me to build the space shuttle.
Gator/Outback/Music City/Duke’s Mayo/Liberty/Texas Bowls are all the same tier. Now granted (since the SEC offices, schools, and bowls themselves make the placements), it’s not guaranteed to be either of those specific 2 out of the 6 mentioned…I wouldn’t expect either of those bowls
“A bad loss”. How many times have you sold that load of **** to yourself. Sick of the “horses” excuse. Newsflash, we aren’t gonna have top 5 classes. Good coaches find a way to win. This team has no drive, desire, or leadership. That’s a reflection of coaching. But you keep playing the “horses” card for another 25 years.Drink less during games, maybe, if you're going to get so angry, unless you just enjoy your misery.
We don't have the horses to beat GA and Bama this year. The FL game was a bad loss.
But, if ranting like a 5yo makes you feel like a good fan, carry on.
Is it? We’re basically playing third stringers on defense and our o-line has never been good. The only unit that hasn’t lived up to expectations are the WRs. The rest are either crippled with injuries or living up to a reality that others refused to see because of one bowl game against Clemson that confused them into thinking Milton was actually good. It’s much bigger than that. Coaching and play has been sorry. No leadership, no desire. That starts at the top.
Yeah, Hobbs and Hooker made our offense better than it was as they could extend plays with their legs. Also, Hendo processed information quicker while going through his progressions. We picked up a couple of OL in the portal last year and probably will again…just hope some of these young guys pan out…but our OL is average at best and that limits how far we can go. A great QB (like Hooker and Dobbs) can get the team a few more wins that their talent warrants but Joe is a very average QB.
