The Official #18 Tennessee vs. #1 Georgia Game Thread, 3:30 PM ET, CBS

We didn't. We have a ton of injuries. We have no depth. We're slow and not nearly athletic enough. To expect this staff to take this roster and be within 10 pts of uga is like NASA giving me a hammer and screwdriver and telling me to build the space shuttle.
It's year 3, the gap should be closing. I didn't expect to win today but at least look competent. How many scholarship LBs were on the roster to start the year? Seriously, it will shock you

I wouldn’t expect either of those bowls
Gator/Outback/Music City/Duke’s Mayo/Liberty/Texas Bowls are all the same tier. Now granted (since the SEC offices, schools, and bowls themselves make the placements), it’s not guaranteed to be either of those specific 2 out of the 6 mentioned…

But at 8-4, unless Missouri screws up against Florida/Arkansas, Tennessee is high enough up in the overall records of the non-playoff/NY6 SEC teams that they’ll end up in one of those 6 bowls mentioned.

I would like heupel to answer this. Around middle of 2nd quarter were you just accepting losing this game or did you think Milton was still capable of putting enough points on the board to win. Had to be one or the other, to me there is no third option, and I’m not sure which is the most telling of his coaching ability

JH is at that 9-4 crossroads that faced Butch, win a SEC/or Natty in a year or two, or end up coaching at Arkansas State (after washing cars for Saban).

Drink less during games, maybe, if you're going to get so angry, unless you just enjoy your misery.

We don't have the horses to beat GA and Bama this year. The FL game was a bad loss.

But, if ranting like a 5yo makes you feel like a good fan, carry on.
“A bad loss”. How many times have you sold that load of **** to yourself. Sick of the “horses” excuse. Newsflash, we aren’t gonna have top 5 classes. Good coaches find a way to win. This team has no drive, desire, or leadership. That’s a reflection of coaching. But you keep playing the “horses” card for another 25 years.

While we all know they’ve looked like trash the last two weeks…. No one on the team will be drafted until after the 3rd round …, maybe after the 4th…. And how many will be? 2?…..3?
On top of this, injuries have been rampant

Mayo bowl ?
Amid SEC gets two in playoffs , then you got Mizzou, LSU, Ole MISS . If Bama or UGA doesn’t make playoff, which I pray happens, one of them gets a NY6 then those other teams will get the priority of course, Id see Music City as absolute best case

It’s much bigger than that. Coaching and play has been sorry. No leadership, no desire. That starts at the top.
Is it? We’re basically playing third stringers on defense and our o-line has never been good. The only unit that hasn’t lived up to expectations are the WRs. The rest are either crippled with injuries or living up to a reality that others refused to see because of one bowl game against Clemson that confused them into thinking Milton was actually good.

We picked up a couple of OL in the portal last year and probably will again…just hope some of these young guys pan out…but our OL is average at best and that limits how far we can go. A great QB (like Hooker and Dobbs) can get the team a few more wins that their talent warrants but Joe is a very average QB.
Yeah, Hobbs and Hooker made our offense better than it was as they could extend plays with their legs. Also, Hendo processed information quicker while going through his progressions.

In case you missed the game, here is a very quick recap:
