The Official 2nd Amendment Appreciation Thread

Now that I have taken the plunge I really do understand all the Glock love. I think Glock has really gotten it right with these latest Gen 4's. I like what they have done with the slightly smaller frames and texturing with the cut off pyramids. Just a great gun.

Glad you're happy with your Glock.

Last, but certainly not least, the G19.

So you're saying this:

When it grows up?

Uh, yeah I guess lol

I love all weapons.

I'll say this about that colt, that is one sweet shooting pistol. Why I waited so long to get on the 9mm 1911 bandwagon is beyond me. I've had .38 supers but this thing is sweet.
I may end up buying a Wilson extended safety for it though, just won't clean up.

He'll still be shooting when you run out of bullets. Uh Single Stack.

I'm shooting a .45. I don't even have to hit anything with it since the sheer power and awesomeness of the .45 ACP is time tested and true. It literally makes the enemy cower in fear and have a heart attack knowing it's in the same hemisphere, much less if they got hit with it.

I've heard of this. It's called American exceptionalism.

I kid, I kid.

So if you were in a duel you'd have no problem letting him shoot first with his Glock?

Anyone know anything about a Jennings Nine? It has Bryco Arms on it. I shot about 5 rounds through it and it jammed. Wondering if they're bad to do that? I'm in a bit of a bad situation right now and rely on it for protection for me and my kids.

Bought this a few months ago with some gift cards that were getting stale. Never thought I'd buy an ar, but the Ruger logo and price proved irresistible. Haven't had the time or motivation to clean the grease off yet. I think it's going to be a cold weather project.

I wouldn't trust it with my life or my kids. I hadn't heard of them until about a year ago. Did some research and realized why the price was so cheap. Jam, firing pins snap, f2f, you name it they do it.

Notorious for malfunctions. They're pretty cheap pistols, but, if it's the gun you have, learn it.
Disassemble it and clean it really good, load the mag up to one round under capacity and see if it functions. Upgrade as soon as you can.

Hope this helps, cheers.

You can find some good deals on armslist from time to time as well. Start looking around in your budget and check out reviews if you're going with a budget gun.

Well I wasn't really going for a budget gun. My brother trades a lot and that just happened to be what he had available. It's better than being unarmed but I will definitely start looking for an upgrade.

Anything is better than nothing. Good luck in your search.

Not a better customer service company out there.
