Hope she enjoys it..
Mine aren't ready for a .22 at 7, still working on BB guns

My brother will keep an eye on her. Of course my SIL will hit the roof so merry Christmas to me....

Nephew is 1, few more years and I'll get him started.

I want to get a crossbow but I know squat about them. Any advise on brand, what to look for/stay away from. Might do some hunting with it but mostly target.

Mossberg Plinkster

Decent, not great but inexpensive. Not going to drop the cash for a 10/22 on a 7 year old.

Oh I understand. My sons first was a the Rossi single shot. 410/22

I keep the 410 on it for snakes and such.

If you need an FFL in Knoxville, Fighting Sheepdog on Edgemoore has been good. Used them a couple times recently. $10 transfer/$10 background is about as cheap as you'll find. Good people.

Saved a healthy chunk snooping out online deals and saving on taxes.

Picked up a Ruger Gunsite Scout rifle in 308 Win. Complete impulse buy, but as soon as I picked it up I knew I had to have it.

So where are you guys shooting these rifles? Doesn't seem like an indoor range would be much fun.

How do you find land to shoot on?
