Well, ended up selling my RRA. Replaced it with my brand new Colt M4 Carbine. Decided to stick with a 16 inch barrel.

Question for the people who own AR Rifles. What’s your preferred barrel length? Mine is currently an 18 inch barrel, 1:8 twist. I’m thinking about downsizing to a 16 inch, maybe even to a lighter barrel to reduce weight. I normally just target shoot.

All 4 of mine are 1:7's. IMO the 1:8 is probably the best all around considering. Nothing wrong with any of them really

I just look in my basement since I survived the Sandy Hook panic and stocked up between each crisis.

Solid rifle. Can't go wrong with Colt, IMO. @Grand Vol will be along shortly to bust my chops on this topic, neglecting to point out that he helped me turn all 3 of mine into top-notch defensive rifles. Without him, I'm still on iron sights and milspec triggers...ugh.
