Anyone know where to find .223/5.56 or 9 mm ammo? I’ve been finding .22 LR pretty regularly - but not these two.
Now that Covid isn’t a problem anymore manufacturing in Dim states Where a lot of amo manufacturers are located should be allowed to gear back up. The shortage should be over soon.If you have an academy sports they usually get stuff on m-w-f but you have to be there when they open. You can get some online at cabelas/bass pro but you have to get lucky. Make an account and make a wishlist of stuff you would want and check it periodically.
Did you notice pricing on the 00?I went to Academy and Bass Pro. I did not realize that Bass Pro is now open at 9 am instead of 10 am, and I got there around 9:30ish and missed out on 9mm fmj. The did have some defensive 9mm and plenty of 45acp fmj. AR calibers (I saw 5.56, .223, 6.5 creedmoor, and .300 blackout) were available but not in large supplies. I went to Academy second, so over an hour after they opened, and it was slim although they did have a lot of 357sig, .44mag, and 12ga buckshot. Wasn't the worst I've seen at either place.
One of Biden's gun control proposals is to ban online ammo sales. Don't count on the online option much longer. If you have an academy sports they usually get stuff on m-w-f but you have to be there when they open. 9th circus in California just ruled the high capacity Ban unconstitutional. It would have to go to scotus to reinstate that ban. Except NY ban to fall next.I would expect some retread of Clinton's assault weapons ban with the support of moderate Rs, even of the Ds don't get the senate. If anyone has ever watched a video on what people in California have to do to buy ammo, it sucks. Hopefully, they don't try to take that nationwide.
