Anybody have a sig365 or 365xl?
The XL? Is the grip big enough for a big hand?
Yeah, I’ve been carrying a shield, so I’m sure that’s a big difference. I’ll have to go try one out. The reviews on them I’ve read have been greatIf a Glock 19 fits your hand well……a 365xl should be a good “enough” fit.
The xl is about 2 tenths of an inch shorter…..and the grip itself isn’t even that much different…….as far as grip length.
Now the grip is WAY different. It’s much thinner, it’s also much slimmer. One of the slimmest grips around.
Keep in mind the Glock grip is also angled more and different.

The second one is a better option.Yeah. I’ve got some palm meat hanging but can get all three finger on there. View attachment 377341

Yeah I think the 365xl might be the perfect size for me to conceal carry. Carrying a 1911 in the winter isn’t bad, but it’s too much for summer, IMO. I have a sig tac ops 1911 that I love to carry in baggier clothes
No way I could carry a 1911 concealed, at least not comfortably. Right now I carry a hellcat with a Hyve extended mag base and occasionally my CZ P10c. The regular extended mag is ok too but the hyve gives it a little more length and an extra round.
Derringers do seem to be having a renaissance. At least I am seeing more of them in store counters. Not sure I wouldn’t’ rather just have a big knife. How about a American Derringer Model M-4 Alaskan in .45-70?

I shot one.....once.
They take some getting used to if you’re accustomed to iron sights. Personally I don’t like red dots on an EDC because if you ever have to use it, it’s more of a point and shoot situation than line up and aim and I don’t want a screen in my way. Now that’s just personal preference. I’m sure others would disagree.Anybody have thoughts on using a red dot on a edc? I’ve never shot a pistol with an optic
that’s how I imagine it too, but I’ve never tried, so I can’t really say anything. Was wondering if anybody used them and liked them though. I love the Eotech on my Kriss, but idk how it would translate to a sidearmThey take some getting used to if you’re accustomed to iron sights. I would say practice with it first before carrying on your EDC. Maybe do some quick draw drills and that should tell you if it works for you. But it’s all personal preference. Another thing to consider is the fact that it needs to be turned on or left on which means batteries become an issue.that’s how I imagine it too, but I’ve never tried, so I can’t really say anything. I read that some come on with movement. Not sure how well that worksI would say practice with it first before carrying on your EDC.
