The Official 2nd Amendment Appreciation Thread

A good .22 will last you forever. And those old pump actions are the bee's knees.

It's a really nice find. Glad it found a good home.

Grandvol you right wing gun nut, need your opinion.

What do you think of the 300ACC/.30BLK? I'm considering buying the upper for one of my rifles.

I've got a DDm4v5 in 300blk and love it, I shoot supersonic instead of subsonic since I don't have a can on it. It's great, but the rounds are still very pricey.

Can will be later on down the road. Debated on doing it for awhile and figured what the hell, Christmas gift for the Hog!

got the .380 back today from Novak
Taking to Tennessee next week, and will put a few rounds thru it...
The sights look great, and you can see the Novak roll stamp on the slide under the front sight

Thanks for recommending Novak...I had them replace the plastic trigger, but wish the new metal one was black...oh well still a really sweet gun

I debated a different caliber for one of mine for the longest time. Came down to a 6.5 Grendel or 6.8 SPC. Finally went with the SPC since the round selection is far greater (I don't reload)

Enjoy your new play pretty.

Any particular reason on going with 6.8?

I wanted a shorter range deer and hog cartridge, but didn't want to deal with the longer barrel the Grendel requires for the better ballistics. The 6.8 is ideal in a 16 inch barrel and has matured as a cartridge to where factory loads are far more available than the 6.5. Finding factory loads for the Grendel? I think it's somewhere on the shelves between unicorn hooves and hydra tails.

I've got nothing against the Grendel, but I think Bill Alexander sat on the cartridge too long and the market passed it by. If I had an extended range to shoot at, I might give it a whirl.

Same rationale for the Blackout. The 6.8 beats it in spades at range and I'm not using a can.
