But, as much as it hurts to say...SEC basketball was indeed way overrated this year. Besides Smith at Auburn, not much elite NBA offensive firepower in league. Fire Calipari

More of a football fan,,, and watched Lady vol
Bball this year and some mens but tonight the
men had nothing to be ashamed of. Watched ladies beat Buffalo and men play Michigan.

I’m still a basketball fan so I’m still going to watch. We know the deal going into this thing every tournament. 68 teams enter, 1 teams leaves. I used to get upset at losses but it’s just the nature of the tournament and I except it for what it is.

Read the Wikipedia article about him. Sounds like a good character guy. A guy every team wishes they had.

This loss is going to linger for a bit. I still think of this as a good season with a lot to be proud of, but perception is reality here. Barnes's teams aren't tournament tough.

Great group of kids that wore the orange and white this year. I’m not gonna dog them. They put more into this season than any of us can even imagine. I’m proud of them. Disappointed they lost but proud of every single one of them!
And I’ll say it, I’m proud to have Rick Barnes as our coach.

Wonder how much longer Barnes will coach? He seemed to rely on his asst coach (one hired as head a new head coach) this yr.

We got a little glimmer of hope in the SEC tournament and was playing good, but in the end it’s just a TN way of life for a fan it seems.
I really loved this team and am disappointed as most are, but I’ll continue to keep watching and hoping for a different outcome and hope we can catch lightening in a bottle just once

Maybe. Like somebody already said it was a bad matchup especially when we shoot god awful and they hit running blind hook shots. I honestly think we should’ve went bigger and played more zone. They killed is with a pick and roll for gods sake.

Why is fulky any more special than anybody else on the team, I think KC gave it all for the Vols in his probable 1 year, just because fulky was here for 6 years why does he deserve all the pity more than any other guy???
