You like to stir the pot. That's OK and sometimes fun. Don't start whining and get defensive when people call you out. The call was a judgment call and went against the Vols. That call could have went uncalled and does more times than not. Got called this time and it is what it is.

And that is EXACTLY what I have been saying.
It was correct by the way the rule is written.
People get emotional and don’t comprehend.
It’s ok, I umpired D1 baseball for 15 years after I finished playing. I have heard it all.

Astonishingly for someone who played "college" baseball has little understanding of the game and the fundamentals of how to play the game . . . not understanding the difference between taking out the turn versus a normal slide into a bag is quite telling. I didn't play college ball but I did play a very long time . . . taught by some very good coaches . . . played with guys who did go on to play college ball . . . one who is a coach at AAA . . .

You evidently have a grudge or something that keeps you from looking at baseball plays objectively or something, take a breath/drink/pill . . . there are MANY people on this site that know and understand baseball and will take you to task for the BS you are spewing . . . I am one of them!
