#3 Iowa St lost to unranked KSU by 19 at home. You only have to go back two weeks to find two examples. I'd say that's pretty common.

I really don’t get the argument here. Yes, we were down by a bunch. No, top 5 teams aren’t down at halftime by a bunch typically. Yes, people had the right to feel frustrated. But what the hell does it matter? We came back and won when a lot, and I do mean a lot, of teams would not have had the toughness and ability to do. All enjoy the dub and hope we don’t drop any more no show halves the rest of the way.

First half was terrible. That’s the worst defense and rebounding half of the year. It was frustrating to watch. I think losing that game might’ve been hard to recover from.

Defensively in the first half I think the stats would support it being prob the worst defensive effort of the year. We’ve kinda struggled with switching/not switching on 3 pt shooters in the last few weeks. Rick has mentioned it several times. But CLEARLY…the 2nd half today was tighter.

What did they shoot for the WHOLE game? How about just the second half?

Stats show in the first half we shot 46% overall and 40% from 3. They played well and with some good banks and bounces, but they for sure had lots of seeing eye rebounds for putbacks and secondary 3’s.

Stats pretty much flipped in 2nd half. They got 10 rebounds to our 20. Just the way the ball bounces sometimes. But you better have your head in the game, the whole game to get the pay back.

Our senior leadership is disappointing in this game. It’s like they are resigned to be middle of the pack in the SEC.

Vols going to give up 90 to Candy, getting out rebounded and offense looks bad once again. This team will drop to 3 or 4 seed. There is no improvement considering where we are this season.

Of course not, but I can see the improvement in this team under Byington from what they looked like under Stackhouse. Much improved and a tough out.

Inconsitentcy us a red flag. To many slow starts. It will show up in the meaningless SEC tourney. Hope it dont spill over.

Good news is Vanderbilt will not shoot 54% in the 2nd half. Need to rebound the misses to get back into the game.

It looks like they bought into what I said exactly. I'd say Barnes said something to them of similarity. Evidently, much worse.
