We just didn't come to play today! This is as bad as it gets with this team. Most points given up in the first half this year. Hope CRB chews that azz and a different VOLS team shows up in the second half!

It’s fairly uncommon for a top 5 team to be down 16 at half at home. Creighton was a top 15 team and that was a road game. All I’m saying was a negative reaction to such a poor half is understandable. Not that good teams don’t **** the bed on occasion.

We were down 13 at half. Kansas was top 5 and down 14 at Mizzou. Iowa State was #3 and got out scored by KSU by 17 in the second half to get blown out, and KSU I think had a losing record at the time. Iowa State was then down 16 at Kansas. Auburn was down 10 to UF. Baylor was 8th and got beat by 38 to Gonzaga. Kentucky was 4th and got beat by 20 to Ohio State, out scored by 9 and 11. Kentucky was 6th and was down 13 to UGA. Those are just games where I know the team lost. Don’t know about comebacks. It happens.

Just no syncing up effort on our end. This has to be the best half for Vandy this year. Good shots and good bounces too, especially on the boards at both ends.

I stand by the comment. The post game comments from both Barnes and Zeigler even confirm it. Barnes said “awful” in first half. Zeigler said they didn’t play with any “fire or energy”.

A senior laden group should know better. That first half lacked effort and everyone knows it. Vandy is a decent team and we got the result we needed in the end thankfully. Hope they learn from it. If they don’t, anyone on the schedule the rest of the year can beat them.

Houston had 15 pts today in the first half with 3 min to go. They played tough D and their offense came around in the 2nd half. Some teams are built by their coaches to always play tough D with good offensive players. Now, we played terrible D in the first half, but we came out with much more intensity in the 2nd half that jump started us offensively too.

I will say Chaz Lanier played fairly well the 1st and 2nd half. I think he had 13 the 1st half. Barnes said in post-game that might have been Chaz's most complete game this year. He may have been the only one of the Vols that had a decent 1st half in this game. The rest of the team was out of kilter.

Im just gonna enjoy every dub and not worry about what may happen. There have been many years I’ve been very confident going into the tournament and it didn’t work out well then either. It’s a crapshoot and about matchups. So many years we see teams nobody expects to do much, get a good draw and make the most of it. We will see, but for now, Im going to enjoy wins when they come.

Candy came out hot and UT played about as bad as they could. Andrew’s throws one up backwards with his left arm upside down and his eye closed and every shot goes in. We still beat them!
