The Official #6 Tennessee @ #9 Arizona Game Thread, 10:30 PM ET, ESPN2

So you watched a live feed of Barnes the entire game and know this for a fact? That he didn't say a word to the refs until the very end?
During the feed in real time yes. The only time he went into the refs was 6 seconds left in the game when the outcome was already determined. If he lobbied before that the feed didn't catch it. All I can go by is what I see.

Then stop taking like you know exactly what he did and said all game to the refs. Good Lord.

Respected coaches so over the league lobby and demand better..... And they usually get it. The heat wheel gets the oil........
But that just isn't Barnes' style. I saw him get fired up with 6 seconds left and give it to the refs. I funny understand why though. The outcome was already determined it achieved nothing.

Why get mad at that point when your players have taken out sideways all night?

Barnes talked to the refs and argued points all night. He’s a pretty thoughtful guy. I’m sure he has a strategy based on the data, not based on our WWF fans. Watch him in the Clemson era and the early Texas era too. He had quite a temper. If he thinks not getting technical fouls on the road is the right way to go, I trust he’s thought it through.

Yeah, like I said, really need Vescovi and James to get healthy in a hurry, especially because Phillips is clearly not ready to carry the load. I think Santi probably should've sat this game, he couldn't contribute offensively like he ordinarily could and I worry that we're prolonging recovery and we'll get 65% of Scov all year instead of 100% of Scov for most of the year
I can’t tell if it’s his shoulder or if he’s just forcing things. Probably a little if both as he had some bad misses tonight that you don’t ever see from him

I know some folks aren’t happy. I know Tennessee had chances; however that game definitely showed Tennessee is good.

On the road, still without one starter, still not everyone (who was playing) completely healthy, on the road, extremely unfavorable whistles, and still “could” have won.

When everyone is healthy and on the floor together, this team should be really good…….won’t always be that favorable of whistles……….with a good healthy Tennessee might not even matter.

It is exhausting. It is every year in college sports that the officials continue to be bad at their job yet never face any accountability. Literally every other profession has accountability except for one of the most lucrative ones out there.

Maybe they have "countability"... as in the counting the money they made outside of their game salary

Yes, Refs sucked and Barnes may have been more vocal, but when we can not knock down wide open shots when it counts, that could be what did us in too. Sometimes this **** just happens. Long season ahead and we will see how we progress
We made more shots than them from the field and from 3 point land. We also shot a better % on both. If Zona don’t get to shoot 27 free throws, they lose. End of discussion. UT hit enough shots to win.

He clearly went after the refs in the first half and got a 3 second call and one or two others. Just couldn’t override the majority of the game flow. It’s CBB, happens all the time. Uros probably didn’t help us with his big man skit early in the game to draw the tech either tbh
