Now we got to win at Auburn, IMO, to even have a shot at the SEC and I am not sure we are good enough to do that.

We are probably a 3-5 seed the way we are playing now.

We won't win that game. We are fortunate their All SEC post is still hurt though.

Even with that loss it won't knock us out the SEC race. There is a long way to go.

At least this was a tier 1 road loss.

Personally I think they’re both good, as well as most of the SEC. Stacked conference from top to bottom.

Tn can be good but not when you only have 1 shooter or scorer. Tn does not have that one or 2 players that can go get you points.

I think that’s a big learning lesson. This team isn’t the same without ZZ. May just have to risk it and let him play it out next time.

and I don't know what we are going to do without him next year.

We’re likely getting curb stomped at Auburn. Going to be very important for this team to hold serve at home against MSU and Kentucky to close out the month.

I believe you have accurately described a playoff game. Which is what that game was like and the Vols came up short. I hope they will be better down the stretch.

The good thing is that postseason play in basketball is on a nuetral court. All SEC teams will benefit by playing Quad 1 road games like this one.

Vandy didn’t deserve ****. The refs actually called a fair game in the 2.!; hAlf after they gave them all the momentum by letting them get away with nonstop contact.

Tennessee is not a top 15 team and I doubt seriously they make it past the first weekend in March. Not an emotional post because I've felt this way for awhile now. Lanier is no Knecht and this team don't have the quality depth or offensive firepower to compete with top teams. It's a rival so these games happen but I don't see a single chance Tennessee can compete with Auburn, Kentucky, or Florida a second time.

3-5 seed in the sec tourney? Maybe, long way to go. But there’s no way we’re a 5 seed in the NCAA tourney, we’ll probably be a 1 or 2

That may count as a loss. But Tennessee fought on the road against a good team playing their best game of the season with their fans treating the game like a superbowl. As the graphic showed, it's hard to win on the road as a top 10 team in Memorial Stadium. Very hard atmosphere. And we played like crap on defense and only lost by one.

It counts as a loss, and very well may end up being a Quad 2 loss. Close or not, it hurts us.

Yep. I’m not into moral victories but when the committee does selections it matters. That 30 point loss to Florida is gonna sting us more than this one.
