Heupel learned to call a game from Oklahoma’s standing as a Big 12 darling. He doesn’t know what to make of the SEC’s cooking. He never had to overcome being an unwanted underdog. He is without a doubt, but UGA has a great game plan and executed it. I'm honestly wondering what game film Banks was watching this week. And Heupel seems to be coaching scared, especially on the road.
Once again, you’ve can’t have a 12 Team Playoff with 12 SEC Teams. They have rules in place. At the end of the regular season, 6 teams will have 10 wins in the conference....did you forget we beat Bama and UF this year. Goodness gracious...the fact that you think BYU would stand a chance against us is hilarious
I personally didn't say not even close lol. But, they have 2 losses. I don't think they are the best team in the country but definitely top five. Not even close? Jeez, aren't y'all temperamental. Biggest collection of 5-star dudes with the best arm-talent at the collegiate level. Beck's a head-case, but damned if he ain't the best arm-talent in CFB. They're quite good. So, not even close?
Not sure about rule. But I just read QB can’t make such a movement under center. I couldn’t locate anything regarding shot gun.QB cannot move before the ball is snapped like that- he would have to be re-set. The "rules analyst" has been a ****ing moron all night, anyway.
you forgot Bama winWhite Danny can scrap that first round playoff game seating chart in Neyland, get the big orange spin machine excited for the Las Vegas Bowl (Vanderbilt will go to the Liberty Bowl)(played in the Citrus Bowl last year)
Georgia, Alabama, Texas and Ole Miss will represent the conference well in the playoffs,
Wins over Oklahoma, Miss State, Kentucky, Florida and hopefully Vanderbilt just don't get it at this level, in retrospect, aside from Georgia and Alabama, we played a fairly soft SEC schedule and an even softer non conference schedule.
Hopefully, Heupel and White Danny see the glaring gaps in the program which, if not addressed, will result in a 10-2 record most years at best, moving to the next level in the SEC, will require SEC caliber coordinators and position coaches, talent is good, but not developing and improving, nor is the team improving throughout the year,
Georgia adjusted and was getting pressure on Nico with 3 dlinemen, and Heupel had no answer for that adjustment.Where was the playcalling from the first quarter the rest of the game? We made UGA pay with using our TE’s and mixing in runs. Sampson was his usual self, Lewis looked really good until he just disappeared. We stopped doing anything with our WR’s like we did in the first and just went back to the same anemic and mind boggling offense that doesn’t seem like it could be possible under Heupel.
And the defense. Don’t know what Banks was doing, but it was a departure from what we’ve seen the rest of the year. UGA is good, but not that good. We had a punchers chance and came in and crapped the bed.
Pearce offsides call and no pressure by him and no sacks by any of them allowed UGA to let the TEs look like Bowers. It didn’t help but lack of pressure on Beck is main reason for this loss, anybody with an arm that can throw will look good when there is all the time in the world to throw it
The defebsive side was trash the 2nd half. But you fail to see how everything is connected. You are looking at the game in quarters, isolated from each other. You are out of your mind with the Vol glasses on.
The officiating was garbage for sure, but there is only one thing on the field that cost Tennessee this game.........the defensive side of the football (no adjustments, no answer for tight end plays, no pressure, no creativity).
