The Official #7 Tennessee vs. #13 Maryland Game Thread, 4:30 PM ET, FS1

This is the sort of meat and potato basketball game - superior defense, offense struggling a bit to get in gear but showing flashes - that Tennessee never seemed to have when I was a young'un watching the Vols. (I'm talking the Wade Houston years and so on). I love it. I could roll around in the stink of this kind of road game anytime. Exactly the sort of workman-like focused effort that gets your team past that 25 win plateau for the tournament.

It’s literally the ball. Maryland usually would hit like 3 more of these 3s and all of their layups. This ball plus an elite defense means lucky to score 30

What do you mean by the ball? How are these different?
 
Phillips has to know that every time he touches the ball does not mean he has to shoot it. He has attempted some very bad shots
