Interestingly, those guys were not recruited by Heupel. They were Pruitt's boys. That's a sobering thought.

Going back to UCF, Heupel did well with Frost's recruits and things fell off some after that. I'm not sure that's the issue here but it DID happen at UCF.

I’m getting concerned about Nico as well. Seems to have the tools but not the mental fortitude. Could be the atrocious offensive line though. He doesn’t get much of a pocket.

They weren’t ready, weren’t aggressive, didn’t adjust, didn’t eat the right breakfast this morning, bought the wrong coffee, what the holy hell?!

And they get paid ridiculous amounts of money because people like you live vicariously through a bunch of kids playing a game….

I mean, you are aware the other team wants to win too, right?

I hope Ohio State fires Day and they fall off the edge of the Earth…. The thing is, and the average fan doesn’t know this, Ohio State has been incredibly fortunate with coaches Tennessee on the other hand, more or less forced Fulmer out 100 years ago and fell into irrelevancy. If Ohio State gets rid of Ryan Day, they will deserve that fate.

Luckily, there's a major holiday on the horizon and time off work for most of us. A chance to occupy our minds with things that bring us joy. After that, there will be more football and chances are another big embarrassment will take place.

They lost because they didn’t believe in themselves enough?! The other team wasn’t just better?! Or had a better day ?

He seems to want to minimize mistakes and limit how bad we get beat with some hope for a miracle. Other coaches just go out and lay it all on the line because they know that’s their best chance to win. He seems to have regressed in his aggressive nature and it seems like it’s due to his blind loyalty to Nico and handling him with kids gloves. The upside to Nico isn’t looking good.

Maybe I am wrong but I just think coach is to soft. He does things great but there are aspects that leave a lot to be desired..I have said it for at least 3 years. Hopefully he goes back and makes changes but I just don’t think he will.

Same question I’ve asked many people give me a list of five coaches who you think are better? I mean I’m assuming you know the lunatics from Ohio Ohio State who thinks their coach should win every game have wanted Day fired for several years and he’s 67 in 10 since 2018….

Time for the AD to step up for the good of the program and force Heupel into upgrading all his coordinators and position coaches. Also be a good idea to open up a QB competition in camp. Next year is going to be a lot tougher with Bama and Florida both being road games. With no changes, things are going to get ugly and quick. Syracuse is a neutral field game in primetime.

Who should they go get as a coach then? R u available?
