Just heard John Adam’s say that this was the worst performance of the Vols during Heupel’s tenure. Unfortunately I have to agree.

This team isn’t going to win many games this season with Milton as QB.

I called out a couple of bad passes in the thread that hit guys in the hands that were bad passes by Milton. He winged one high to I think it was White early over the middle that was bad.

There were also several ugly drops however.

It's not mutually exclusive that it all has to be the QBs fault or the WRs fault anywhere other than your head.

There was one ugly drop. Only one. There’s a reason they only let him throw within 2 yards of the los after he had shown he can’t hit the broad side of a barn.

I’m sorry that you disagree but it was objectively a horrible game from top to bottom. Did you see us barely perform against a team that got skull drug by SIU? We scored 5 more points than half of 49 they dropped on the same team. It’s looking to be a down year for the conference but you’re not winning many SEC games if you put that effort on the field again.

I was on the 10-2 bandwagon coming into the season. I am thinking 9-3 is more likely now. I am most worried about how you let a team come into your house, punch you in the mouth and break your stuff without really showing much fight. We have talent but do we have the fight? I think the trip to Gainesville will show us some answers.
