Since you're slurping him, add how many were high and or behind the reciever
Apparently not high or far enough behind the receiver that they couldn’t get (both) hands on it.

Btw, I understand your point, and Joe wasn’t spot on accurate tonight, but to act like every one of them was solely his fault is an emotional response of those who don’t know any better.

Were you at? No reason to be concerned at all right. Hasn’t Josh shown you in two years derp derp. We can lose to AP. We have more talent but they are outplaying us. Up by 10 and we can’t throw the ball. Their qb is running over us for first downs. Being realistic is not being negative. We are not worthy of the hype at this point. We beat a very bad VA team. They got beat by James Madison today.
All I’m saying is if Josh Heupel hasn’t shown you a significant turnaround in the past 2 years, you’re blind. There’s no reason to think he won’t remain competitive within SEC play until he isn’t competitive. I think most of us were coming into this year riding high because of how good we were last year. Unfortunately, this is that “gap” year where There will be a little bit of a lull. Next year should be when the Josh Heupel era really starts to show out. Finally getting a fantastic class in behind guys that have now been in your systems for a couple years who are also guys that you have recruited. This team looked horrible today. No doubt. But we can’t be losing our heads even if we have an underwhelming year this year. We are starting to see the effects of good recruiting classes. Look at our defense. Looks majorly improved since last year so far. Our run game, young receivers (squirrel) look good. We are still dealing with the last remains of some of the Pruitt era/ transfers into the programs. We didn’t play good this game. But there is no reason to think the sky is falling.

I can’t agree with that.

1. Georgia-crushed a better opponent
2. MI-push with UT
3. Bama/11 TX-only bc they lost but they’re playing at a higher level than us right now and would beat UT
4. FSU dominating a better opponent after winning a huge game last week
5. OSU-push with UT
6. USC-TBD as hasn’t kicked off
7. Pedo St-crushed their opponent
8. Washington-beat better opponent
9. Woof!
10. ND-crushed a power 5 team
11. Texas-great win
12. Utah-won vs power 5 on the road
13. Oregon-worse than UT
14. LSU-won big vs garbage team
15. Kansas St-blew out a better team

So that’s 2 worse, 2 even, ten better
ND, Utah, LSU,GA, OSU,MI, none of these were really any better wins, not notably better anyway.

He ran the ball pretty well when he scored and he flexed pretty good, too. Saw inconsistent throws like we've seen over his entire career but nothing that made me think he was ill.
Just don’t understand how we could be so lo energy, and it looked to come mainly from him, his receivers, and the play calling.

ND and Utah played decent power 5 teams and they both won on the road so that’s objectively untrue. LSU played a team on Peay’s level but won with a score we should have won with. Ball State is FBS and is much better than FCS Peay. I didn’t say OSU and MI were better wins. I said they were a push. You’re sugarcoating today.

Joe had a few bad throws and there were lots of drops, including fumbles, by our receivers.

However, yet another game with no INTs by Milton. We played a very vanilla offense with shallow passing.

Neither the O nor D played great today, but I don’t think it’s indicative of how our season will go nor our level of play.

I’ll withhold judgement (and panic) on this team until after next week. That said, today’s performance was not encouraging.

Heupul sandbagged on O & D tonight. We will see the playbook next week.
I think you/we better get used to the fact that the offense we’ve seen the past two weeks is the offense we will see the entire season. We’ve taken a step back at the QB position which requires Heupel to do things differently with Joe. Our defense also had to play its butt off tonight because that was a fairly capable FCS offense that gave us some problems.

Nome of those are objectively better teams. Add to that who will jump us? Texas should. Oregon? Barely beat TT? Please.
