JD has been what JD has always been.

He isn't near the player that Carl is.

When it is all said and done ( given health ) he will hit near .300, score 100 runs, steal 50 bags and provide great defense.

I agree, he's pressing, perhaps. Not ready to start complaining, long way to go, and this squad is too good.

When you look at this lineup, the top 7 are amazing. You have tons of power and speed, good average hitters, and guys who work counts and aren't afraid to take walks.

They will be a force.

The rotation is another story.

Lester has to have a Cy young type os season.

Bucholz has to be a more than solid number 2.

I expect next to nothing from Dice-K and Lackey, holding out that Josh can return to form, if he does we will have more than enough starting pitching to do well.

And I gave Astros fans a hard time for giving up....

Do I think they'll make the playoffs? No.

Do I think they suck? Yes.

The NL Central is pretty crappy though and the Astros could easily finish second in the division. Maybe even with a record below .500.

I hate the Red Sox and hope they tank. With that being said, they still have a huge payroll and a lot of talent. The one sport where money can take you to the top!

Don't fret BoSox, your team spends money with the best of em!

What's the problem? Plenty of time to get hot.

Hilarious...

Boston spends money cause they have to, no other way around it.

Our lineup has a bunch of homegrown players so don't act like it is all free agents.

I would like a CGSO too, but there is no reason to rack up pitch counts on 4/10. Pap needs some work anyways.
