In his last 10 games, Iglesias is hitting .300 (12-for-40), and while he has just one extra-base hit, his six walks in that stretch have allowed him to have a .404 OBP during the stretch.

Middlebrooks just hit another HR.

@aaronmgoldsmith: Will Middlebrooks with his 5th 3-run HR of the season. Unreal. Now has more games with a 3-run HR than he does without a hit. #RedSox

That's awesome to see. Dice K pitching in a real game. I really think he will be able to contribute at some point this summer.

Aaron Cook goes 7IP unofficially 92 pitches 8 hits (7 singles, double), one unearned run, K, 2 BB

Sox have until May 1st to call Cook up or he becomes a FA. If we don't call him up & put him in the rotation I will be pissed!!!

Make Cook the 5th starter & Bard to the closer role. That simple, but our ownership is to freaking stubborn to do it.

Cody Ross providing the power & Sweeney the AVG & OBP. Would have been nice to have had Crawford in LF, Ellsbury in CF, & Ross/Sweeney platooning in RF.

Bard comes out of the pen w/ a runner at 3B, 1 out, game tied 5-5, & he gets 2 outs to end the inning & leave the runner stranded at 3B.

My god man, they needed that one! Bobby said Bard is still in line to start Friday, but he has another inning left in him in the series with the Twins lol please tell me how that's going to work.

Cody Ross is going to hit 20+ this year, at least they made one good move this offseason.

I'm hoping Beckett puts another solid performance together tonight. We need to pick up some W's the next couple weeks w/ this easy schedule.

This is a great time to build some momentum for sure. Beckett tonight, maybe Buchholz could finally get it going for 3 straight, then see what happens with the backend (who have actually been pretty damn good so far). Next thing you know, Cook could be up, Bard/Hill/Miller could be in the pen, Crawford will be back and things could be looking up again. I'd like to see 10 of the next 15 at least be wins. FYI they have the same 5-10 record as they did this time last year. Time to go to work and be men about this, enough excuses and BS.

Awesome man, that will be a good time! My girl got opening day tickets this year and they said obstructed view on them. We were in the 4th row of the 3b side grandstand, sec 29, thought there would be no way it would be an issue. Wrong, that pole was legit 3 feet directly in front of us, had no view of 2b at all haha It really isn't a huge deal tho, well worth it just to be in the park, but if its a matter of a few bucks, definitely go for the non obstructed view. I'll try to put up a pic if I can shrink the file.

Triple a third baseman is hitting .400, with 8 hr, and 18 RBI through 12 games........and the YOUSSSSUUUCCKKKK OR YOUK is still in lineup? Been a Sox fan all my life trying to figure out if this team can make a push when healthy....yuck the fankees

Maybe Middlebrooks is turning himself into enough of a prospect for the Sox to package him for King Felix

Middlebrooks, Buchholz and someone like Brentz/Kalish (+ a couple lesser prospects) for King Felix would you do it??
