The Official Boston Red Sox Thread

Pedroia is back tonight and Buchholz is starting in place of Morales who is back in the pen. Morales said he is indebted to Bobby V for giving him a shot in the rotation and letting him show people what he is capable of. For now he is a second lefty out of the pen, but a great option to plug into the rotation at some point if needed.

I'm taking a shot at guessing the lineup tonight with Petey back against lefty Jose Quintana...

Ellsbury - CF (L)
Crawford - LF (L)
Pedroia - 2B (R)
Gonzalez - 1B (L)
Ross - RF (R)
Middlebrooks - 3B (R)
Salty - C (S)
Gomez - DH (R)
Aviles - SS (R)

Also, where has Jmoore been? He had better be on some tropical vacation or something, he brings a lot of great info that I am way too lazy to look for hah!

I'm still here, just reading not posting much. Sox are killing me

Fantasy baseball is the only thing keeping me going right now...thank god I didn't draft Lester or Beckett or you might see me on the news...

Side note, I was in nyc this past weekend and saw a group of Vols in rockefeller center and I definitely thought I saw you walking with them haha

Wasn't me. Lol.

Although I'd love to take a visit to NYC one day.

Nick Cafardo had a good article today about blowing up the time & I agree w/ his opinion.

3 game series starting w/ the Yankees tonight, Cook is on the mound facing Hughes.

Ortiz got the boot off his foot today. Should be back sometime next week.

Lol I was literally just telling a friend how it's been a while since I've seen Crawford square up a ball and then he does that.

That was nice to see, I'm not gonna get used to it tho.

They had better make some moves in the next couple days...to be clear, I'm referring to moves of the selling kind. I saw they have to go something like 41-22 to finish with 90 wins, game over I feel like a mets fan.

They better give middlebrooks first base. I know the ump behind the plate didn't see it but it was clear the ball hit him in the arm while he was pulling back.

Not quite the trade deadline move I was hoping for...

Matt Albers and Scott Podsednik for lefty/genius Craig Breslow
