Got this off of GVX. First off, it said he was retaliating after get his eyes poked earlier. Second, is this quoted part true? Does he wear a mask? If so, Urbie is just lying to everybody

I guess this is what LG meant when he said Urban should talk to Spikes and get the details. Obvious eye gouge was obvious.

As a rule, anything less than one game for any disciplinary action is merely symbolic. That's for the "breaking team rules", "late for practice", "shouting match with a coach", and "really stupid penalty" infractions.

What garbage. But I'm sure the blue and orange paint huffers are ecstatic.

It’s also good to see SEC commissioner Mike Slive taking such a hard-line stand on this, especially with the league so willing to suspend officiating crews and reprimand coaches who complain about the officiating.

while I think one full game would be the appropriate suspension, only a complete idiot would expect him to be suspended for the rest of the year.

This kind of stuff happens probably at least once in every game played. Obviously a large portion of you never played football

This doesn't come anywhere close to what happened in Oregon. If you think blount would have been gone for the year if that incident wouldve ended with just the punch, ive got some land for sale I think you'd like

Far worse than that happens in almost every big pileup. Spikes just had the bad luck of having it caught on camera.
