If Tebow had criticized him, you all would have complained that he cares only about himself, is sanctimonious, and is not a team player. Spikes is his friend. They are down on that field together and Tebow knows how UGA was playing that game.

I'm not saying its cool or acceptable to retaliate like Spikes did. And I think that's what Meyer was saying yesterday. I'm just saying you are talking about a couple of 22 year old guys who have been through all this stuff for four years and then are down on the field in this particular game with some cheap shots coming their way and so when Spikes admittedly does the wrong thing out of anger and frustration, Tebow is just not going to get on his case about it.

The whole thing has now taken on a life of its own. Sports media now turning against Florida in an effort to make some hay and get some viewership in what is otherwise a very boring season. This will die down, but look for PTI and ESPN to start touting anti-UF stories.
