actually it was 1000 games with the yankess..

Overall as a manager, Torre is 1,894-1,648, including stints with the New York Mets, Atlanta and St. Louis.

I'm a yankee hater but you gotta give the guy some credit.

I'm sitting here listening to Ron Gant and I now realize I have to amend my earlier statement about how boring Jeff Torborg is. Gant sounds like he needs an adrenaline shot just to get through the game.

He apparently got his money's worth between innings and got the heave ho.

Not surprising that Laroche would pull something like that. He's notorious for being ADD (not a joke). Supposedly, teammates work constantly to help him focus on what's going on.

I just hope that by this time in June that the Braves are leading the NL East. Gotta make a run at the Mets/Phils now. Great way to end last nights game - a walk offf Grand Slam by Franceour (sp)!

Gaining ground ever so slightly! Braves over the "Fish" 9-1 and the Mets and Phils lost! YES!!!!!! GO BRAVES! Bats are putting it together. Would like to see the powerhouse of the "Jones's" and Franceour put together a 8-10 game win streak with some stellar pitching and a good bullpen. I think the bullpen may be the key and get some quality starts behind the two aces.
