Brohm has 3 really good wins, but I think that’s pretty much all that he has. On Childers and Neuheisel’s show they give Brohm and Purdue a hard time almost daily because of his $7million/year contract that they say pays him $1 million a win per year. Basically he’s been a 7-5 guy. We had him as our coach and then it got leaked and he backed off, that’s the story I’ve heard anyway. I’m ok with not having Brohm. We’ll see if the Gators want to make a move for Brohm’s offensive mind, but it wouldn’t be better than Mullen’s.One thing Brohm has going for him is recruiting and his track record against the top programs. Has 3 double digit wins against Top 5 teams since he's been to Purdue and if you can recruit guys like Rondale Moore & David Bell to Purdue them imagine what you could do at UF. I do think UF wants to see more overall wins and results before a hire like Brohm but his name is becoming hot again.
Brohm has it made. He's 25-28 at Purdue, which is not bad, but he has one big victory a year against a highly ranked team which leads to his name getting on coaching hot boards and Purdue gives him raises and extensions.
He made a ton of hay in particular off of that win over Ohio St in 2018.
Not sure what all went on at UNC that he was involved in, but he “cleaned up” some of the crap that was going on at the U. Got talent from all over the country, not just the “state of Miami.”He was cheating his ass off at UNC, no?
I still can't believe he left a national championship-level team to go work for one of the most incompetent organizations in sports, the Browns.
Bunch of academic fraud. This was separate and prior scandal from the bogus class scandal that they totally skated on.Not sure what all went on at UNC that he was involved in, but he “cleaned up” some of the crap that was going on at the U. Got talent from all over the country, not just the “state of Miami.”
Which ultimately lead to where Miami is now. But he was a winner. As a ‘Nole fan as well, he did get screwed out of the 2000 BCS. I hate saying that, but it’s a fact.
