i disagree.

I believe they got to good to quick and looked around until the found something.
Got good too quick? They were a dominant program before him in the 80s, then actually took a step back the first few years of his tenure, then he brought them right back to the precipice of a championship in the late 90s before he bolted.

Of course they were cheating, all programs do, but the fact that Miami got really good again wasn't all that much of a surprise.

During his time at Carolina, sorry about that.

Kiffin to Miami - plausible, it makes too much sense.
Urban to Gainesville - not gonna happen. His ego won't allow it because he believes he can win a Super Bowl.
Jimbo to LSU - Not gonna happen. I think he stays put for at least 2 more years or until Saban retires then he walks into that job.
Freeze to aTm - not gonna happen. He won't coach in the SEC as long as Sank has any say in it.
Deion to FSU - likely. I think it would be good for both. He has shown he can actually coach and would draw recruits pretty easily.
Mullen to Ole Miss - doubtful. I think Mullen will have to go the coordinator route or drop down to FCS
Franklin to USC - probably, and I really don't care.

Outkick says that LSU is down to Aranda, Napier, and Campbell, with an announcement possibly coming next week.

Yeah I don’t get the impression that Campbell actually wants to go anywhere. And I think Napier has been holding out for something. Maybe it’s LSU, and he’s the fallback.

Aranda checks a lot of their boxes already. It’s a risk going with Napier or Campbell

Why is everybody convinced Napier would be awesome at UF or LSU? I'm not saying that he'd be bad, but everybody speaks with such supreme confidence that he'd be great.

What he's done at Louisiana is impressive, but does anybody really have any idea how he'd handle being the head man at a big job? Personally I think Aranda is the guy for LSU.

Some folks have said the admins at LSU don’t think of football the same so they may purposely fumble this hire regardless of who begs to be there

True, I’m just glad Tennessee isnt looking for a HC
A lot of school going to pay a lot for unknown results
In the back of my mind...........I'm kinda worried that the coaching carousel might trickle down to Heupel. Not that he leaves, but gets mentioned.

I think Heupel only gets seriously mentioned on the coaching carousel if Lincoln Riley left Oklahoma, and at this moment Oklahoma people would think they are way too good for him.

That’s a carry over from the past imo. If it gets that far that means things at other programs are a complete mess which is good for Tennessee.

I think he likes being at Tennessee and wants to be here that said I don’t think Tennessee would fight to hard if it came to it
