Kinda feels like that could be the game right there. UNC keeps missing but Brooks keeps the ball alive. Big time plays right there.

They look great on signing day, have a big impact on pre-season rankings, but they’re no slam dunk once the games are played. Still gotta have the right mix of talent and experience, as well as pieces that all fit together.

Ftr, I’m not saying to stop recruiting one and dones, but it’s hard to win that way without at least some holdovers. Literally all four super freshmen were just staring at Allen last night the final two minutes. They were scared to death. Speaks volumes that only O’Connell had the nerve to fire up shots.

It’s somewhat ironic that Carolina is the one (of these two teams) most impacted by a unexpected one-and-done decision. Tony Bradley should have stayed in school and he’d be the reliable inside threat that Carolina is missing this season. Instead, he’s toiling away in the G League.

Could make the same argument about Frank Jackson. He’s injured now in the league, but he’d be the extra guard Duke needs right now.

Congrats Heels on the win. I’ve been ooff the grid with no WiFi or cell service on a cruise ship. I saw the second half. The Heels just wanted it more. Very concerning to me.

I don't know why, but I immediately imagined Regulator sitting by the fireside with a nice smoking pipe reading Fleece's comment incredulously with the "Good day sir" comment.
