I believe Tennessee sweeps and moves on but don't underestimate Evansville starting Pitcher today. Tough lefty who held the ECU offense to 1 run in Regionals and pitched 8+ innings.

Yep. Young but crafty lefty. Might be mistaken, but I think they'll trot out another lefty in game 2. We're home. We're heavy favorites. No one is giving Evansville any chance at all....well...almost no one. Shades of ND. We'd better come out breathing fire. Let this team hang around and you tempt fate. Need to get to this kid early and put them away from the jump. You'd have to think the Vols will already have eyes on Omaha. Sets up so perfectly for Evansville to spring the trap/upset.

I totally get that and very possible. I just get another vibe from THIS team. Even with the 22 team, I felt at times we were done during a game and it proved to be true. This team has had some letdowns but just seems like they take the same approach every game and never have a doubt. It doesn’t always work out but a good thing for games like this.
