Yes.. . but we changed ours to turf to extend our playing season due to weather. Florida changed theirs to keep the Gator cheerleaders from grazing on the field.

Speaking of.. if we have to have turf, that’s fine. I get the financial benefits and rainouts are less common.

But couldn’t we just do the old school base cut outs with actual dirt? It’s more aesthetically pleasing than artificial grass painted brown and it would stop all the guys sliding 10 feet over the base due to less friction. Jmo
