Sure he can pitch again Sunday but it’s on a tired arm. That’s not the same scenario as him being fresh and going 4-5 innings behind Beam.

Tired arm depends on how many pitches he throws. Do you all not realize that in the majors relievers sometimes throw 3-4 games in a row with no rest days and they do that for 162 games? We really suggesting that 20-30 pitches will break Snead with a day off in between?

I don’t get this fatigue argument we seem to use so often on here. Snead will be fine for Sunday unless he throws like 40-60 pitches which if we don’t score runs Tony will pull him anyway and put in JJ Garcia or something.

The field is wide open when you have our offense. We’re probably one of two teams in the CWS that could win from the losers bracket. You can’t turn a game one loss into an 0-2 exit.

Rarely happens.

Twelve teams in Men's College World Series history have gone on to win the national championship after dropping their first game in Omaha. Oregon State did it in 2018 before that South Carolina in 2010.

Maybe the Vols can be next. No way it will happen unless the defense tightens up.
