Beautiful day out there folks!View attachment 551336
It’s beautiful and I love it! However, I attended my first game this spring and it was just too tight. Sometimes, I’ll need to slide out for a refreshment or to pee. I don’t like rubbing groins with everyone on the way out while afraid I’ll be pushed to fall into the row in front. In that game, I feel I had a sexual interaction with 15 people to go pee in the 7th and did not return to my seat.

Following the rule, I like it! 😛

So. We got four more games to win. No problem.😉

The ESPN stat was that it's difficult to be able to host. My less important point was to inform others and that we shouldn't obsess over hosting. Hosting would be nice, but not required.

I think Tenn baseball is well positioned at this point and that hope people here are content with that and that we should be pretty happy about where we are now.
The little bit of analysis I saw on SEC Now was very positive concerning Tennessee.

Read my post about Clemson, NC State, Coastal Carolina, Miami, and Indiana State in the hosting thread. They all have worse records than UT and are projected to host. That is ridiculous. And a few records way worse.

I get what you’re saying but I want to see my people go wild at LNS.

I agree. Roles are figured out etc…However, the body of work also says we’re one team at home and another on the road, which from my perspective is why hosting would be nice, but first things first.

GBO!!!

Fair enough. I am really enjoying this year's team because they're still evolving and I believe our bullpen may be the best or one of the top 2-3 in all of college baseball which gives us many option in any series of games. The wins, will take care of themselves with our hitting ability combined with pitching depth. Good times even if The media hasn't really embraced Tenn baseball yet.

I think that is spot on. Ain’t nobody talking about us. I like it.

Win tomorrow, one of three vs Jr, and a win or two in SEC tourney = hosting regionals, imo. I’m just a fan giving his opinion as our resume is stronger than others listed to host.

@99gator now that I’ve looked at it a bit…look at how few Q3, Q4, games they have played. In the WN algorithm maybe that’s a thing. Otherwise, I can’t explain their RPI.

LSU pitching - After Skenes; is going to kill them.
MSU just tied up the game 2-2 in BR on a moonshot.

Unless LSU is gifted a VERY easy region, they may have issues even getting out of region.
They may need to save Skenes for game 2 of the region and starter-by-committee in game 1 against a 4 seed.

The pitching is getting worse every week

Btw. No mercy with his older brothers. “Great 1 pitch tonight “. At dinner last night.
I have three brothers. This is the best post I have ever seen on VN. Brothers have to bust chops, and hold accountable. I will root for Kirby, and I will trust his brothers to keep him humble. 😁
