As long as we do not bring back Cutcliff or Fulmer. I just do not undestand why anyone would want them back. They keep saying Cut has done good at Duke. They get blown out. In the ACC.
Fedora has them at 7-4 with a probable win against UVA to finish 8-4 and to be tied for the ACC Coastal Division lead. Not bad for a program who's had three head coaches in two seasons and is under NCAA sanctions (postseason ban).
I like most of what he did at Southern Miss. But that performance the year after he left concerns me. Not everything going down with an 0-12 program is the fault of a first-year head coach. Some of the responsibility has to rest with the talent-level the previous coach left behind. I'd want someone to actually talk to folks down in Hattiesburg and find out how much of the fault rests with Johnson and how much is on Fedora.
This being said, Fedora did fine work getting those UNC kids to buy in to what he was trying to do in the face of a ban from post-season competition.
Definitely warrants a look. The overall resume is impressive.
Didn't they lose to Duke.
Jus sayin

Yes, and GA Tech put up 68 points on him.
Fedora was always good for a 7-6 record every year at Southern Miss. Had one big year and got a gig at UNC. They were actually expected to finish on the edge of the Top 25, so the talent was already there. It also helped that VA Tech had an off year and Miami sucks right now.
Fadora recruited pretty well to S.Miss for C-USA standards. His biggest coupe was SLAUGHTERING the beloved Kevin Sumlin in the C-USA championship game 49-28. Sumlin's team came in ranked #6 with a Heistman candidate QB in Keenum. Many people forget that.
